The Our Ontario project is designed to provide a range of digital solutions for our clients who range from heritage organizations, universities and libraries to online users seeking access to digital collections about or from Ontario.

• The OurOntario.ca discovery portal, developed using open source software now has a French interface and enhanced social media tools enabling easy sharing of digital content with friends and colleagues. Learn more about portal services.

• The VITA toolkit enables the creation of sustainable digital collections, with an interactive online presence for organizations to globally market their digital collections and community content.

For the digital generation, Our Ontario allows for easy findability of digital collections that are about Ontario people, places and events, or are from Ontario organizations. Search results are customizable to suit specific audiences and personal tastes – plot search results in Google Earth, view as an image wall, and effortlessly share search results with your friends or colleagues by using the social media tools. We're also outputting data in a number of formats for those of you who want to mash up the data.

For organizations... Our Ontario enables communities to participate in the creation, delivery and discovery of digital content about or from Ontario.
